Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to buyers, sellers, company dealers, administrators, and all users of Africars.co.zm.
1. Acceptance
By registering, browsing, listing, contacting a dealer, making a payment, or otherwise using Africars.co.zm, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, and marketplace rules shown on the platform.
2. Marketplace Role
Africars is an online vehicle marketplace. Unless expressly stated in writing, Africars is not the seller, owner, importer, insurer, financier, or warrantor of vehicles listed by users or dealers.
3. User Responsibilities
Users must provide accurate information, use the platform lawfully, avoid fraud or misrepresentation, and independently verify vehicles, ownership, roadworthiness, pricing, and seller identity before making commitments or payments outside the platform.
4. Dealer Responsibilities
Dealers must submit valid identification, company, trading, tax, address, and compliance documents where required. Dealers must only list vehicles they own or are authorized to sell and must comply with applicable consumer protection, tax, transport, company registration, and trading requirements in Zambia and relevant African markets.
5. Listings and Verification
Africars may review, reject, edit, suspend, or remove accounts or listings that appear fraudulent, inaccurate, unsafe, unlawful, duplicate, expired, or inconsistent with platform standards. Verification checks reduce risk but do not guarantee that a vehicle or dealer is risk-free.
6. Buyer Safety
Buyers should inspect vehicles physically, confirm ownership documents, meet in safe public places, avoid sending money to unknown parties, and use trusted payment channels.
7. Payments
Listing fees, inquiry fees, featured listing fees, advertising fees, reservation fees, and other platform charges are governed by the price shown at the time of payment and by the Refund Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Africars is not liable for losses arising from vehicle defects, third-party fraud, buyer-seller disputes, incorrect listings, payment provider downtime, network interruptions, or user actions outside our control.
9. Contact
For legal or platform support questions, contact support@africars.co.zm.
